Boo at the Zoo

Saturday Gus, Nonna, Mommy, Mike and Dennis hit Boo at the Zoo. The hippo was Gus"s favorite, with the elephant who stomped on and ate a pumpkin a close second. [JUMP TO FULL POST]

Heavyweight

So... the pediatrician wanted me to be back to my birthweigh by today. Instead I tipped the scales at 8 lbs 14 oz. (that's a gain of 12oz in 7 days, when they expect about .5 to 1 oz a day). Guess I'm eating enough! [JUMP TO FULL POST]

My Baby Brother is Here!

This past Wednesday my Mama gave birth to my baby brother, Clayton "Clay" James. Uncle Dennis took me to daycare because Mama had a midwife appointment at 8:30. He picked me up after nap and we headed to the birth center because my Mama was in labor. When they did her checkup, she was 7cm dilated (whatever that means) so they broke her water. My brother was born at 1:36 pm. On a Wednesday (just like me!). It was a natural birth, in the birthing tub. He weighed 8.02 oz and was 20 inches long. He's pretty cute (that's how babies are in my famly!) and I really like him (so far). [JUMP TO FULL POST]

First a bit about me..

What have I been up to? Well, I've been enjoying the fall- 2 weekends ago we went out to the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins (and saw lots of cool animals too!) I also helped Nonna celebrate her birthday and have been spending some fun time with Uncles Mike and Dennis too. [JUMP TO FULL POST]

Family Fun Fest

Last weekend we went to our local "family fun fest" - I got to ride a pony, sit in a firetruck, and make my own cool hat. Not sure what we're doing this weekend, other than waiting for my little brother to be born!

Monday was a beautiful day so we went to the zoo! While we were there, in addition to all the nifty animals, I also got to see and meet one of Mama's former bosses (and family friends) Beth and her kids. Her oldest, Max, is one of my new favorite friends- he held my hand, pointed out animals to me, and was all around a great guy! [JUMP TO FULL POST]

My Weekend

This weekend my Uncle Ross visited. And we went to the Rainbow Families Picnic for all the LGBT families here in DC. I got to play with Uncle Ross and Uncle Dennis, and I also got to meet up with some old friends.
