Sorry

Sorry for the hiatus- we've been sick! (and we also lost the battery charger for the camera for a while). Here are some pics from when Aunt Kallie and Uncle Todd came to visit. [JUMP TO FULL POST]

"Dockor" Appointment

So we both had a "dockor"'s appointment today- Clay's +/- 2 month and Gus's 2 year. We're both doing great with no major issues. Gus got some info on toilet training and a heel stick to check for lead (and hemoglobin), and Clay got a bunch of shots. Iron level for Gus was a little low, so he's going on supplements, but otherwise everything is fantastic.

Stats:

Clay

Height (well, length): 25 inches (85-90 percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs, 15 oz (90-95th)
Head circumference: 41.3 cm (50th percentile)

Gus

Height: 36 1/8 Inches (75-80 th)
Weight: 31 lbs 9 oz (80th)
Head: 51.1 cm (95th) [JUMP TO FULL POST]

Laughin and Wobblin

I'm wearing this cute onesie that my Mama's work sent us when I was born. In case you don't get it, it's a play on the name of her firm. [JUMP TO FULL POST]

Yes, We Missed You Too

So we've been a little busy - sorry the posting has lapsed. First, we had a great Christmas. Nonna stayed over and we opened our presents here, had a leisurely lunchtime, and headed over to her house for Christmas dinner. Two days later we left for our vacation. We spent time in the pool and at the many beautiful (and kid-friendly) beaches of St. John, and Gus even got to drive a sailboat and feed some iguanas! Clay basically hung out, enjoying the pace of the island lifestyle. Uncle Dennis made a fantastic dinner for New Year's Eve, and after we went to bed the adults hung out on our balcony and watched the fireworks at the resort across the bay (surprisingly we slept through all that, even though it was pretty loud). We came back home to some cold weather, but our moms say it's supposed to be close to 70 degrees out this week (which we think is very warm for January).
