2 week check up

Well- I am officially 2 weeks old today! Can you believe it? I had a very busy day today. I went to the doctor's office for my 2 week check up - they said I was the most amazing baby ever! :) I now weigh 8 pounds 4 ounces- only 1 ounce from my birth weight and I am 21 inches long. I finally opened my eyes for the doctor and he said everything is looking good. The doctor said that my jaundice appears to have cleared up and that they didn't even need to check my bilirubin level- of course that didn't stop them from still pricking my heel to collect blood for my follow-up PKU test. I now have 3 whole weeks until I have to go back. After we got home Mommy fed me while Mama did some chores and then Mama decided to take me to a meeting with her at work to show me off. I was quite good with Mama and slept through her entire meeting. I only got a little fussy when she decided to change my diaper. The nerve! While we were out my Poppy stopped by with more gifts, and Mommy finally got some rest.
